While surfing the Internet, I noticed spot color pics appearing quite often. So I decided to give this kind of photography a try and headed to iTunes App Store to get some selective coloring apps. I’ve downloaded plenty of them, thanks god, there is a wide choice for less then 2-3 bucks. The one app I really liked is Color Splash Studio, and here’s why.
The user interface is quite simple and intuitive, and after playing around for 5 minutes you do understand how to get things right. The principle is simple: the app turns your pic into B&W, and you reveal original colors choosing the area with your finger.

That’s how it looks after changing background color (I should note that the app offers 3 options: grayscale, bluetone and sepia) and applying so called “dramatic effect”. Remember I did this all on iPhone
