Remember back in the day, when you went to your local amusement park, such as, Six Flags, or Universal Studios, and saw a Roller Coaster for the first time? Did you stare at it with awe and amazement, wondering if that ride was going to kill you? Well, as it turns out, there’s been designs for a Roller Coaster, which can actually kill you.
In the United Kingdom, education is taken very seriously, with high powered universities such as Cambridge and Oxford obstinately still in the top ten universities of the world. Smaller, but equally prestigious organizations such as the Royal College of Art, pride themselves in developing practical solutions for physical and moral quandaries, such as Euthanasia. Student Julijonas Urbonas has developed a Roller Coaster, which exerts a fatal amount of physical strain upon the body, ensuring that all rides are ‘One-Way’ on this fearsome machine. We’re talking a five hundred meter drop, 10G’s of force, and of course, traveling along at approximately 223 Kilometers per hour. With these numbers, one would expect to die through having one’s face liquified, or something extremely painful along those lines. The designer, Mr. Urbonas, asserts that one would die from asphyxiation… but rather painlessly, unless you were a fighter pilot, it is almost certain that you’d lose consciousness due to the extreme gravitational forces upon your body, to feel yourself being unable to breathe.
If that fails to kill you, each carriage is fitted with modern medical machinery to determine if you need to go for another round against the Reaper Coaster. Unfortunately, before one books a ticket for an enemy, annoying individual, etc. etc. to the United Kingdom, your plans for ‘Revenge by Coaster’ will not come to fruition. This is because it doesn’t exist yet, the design above is merely a concept. It is doubtful that this work of death will ever be made, as the costs associated with it would be excessive and of course, the moral and legal problems of euthanasia are still frustrating governments around the world. But, if you get stuck in Limbo, ala Inception, perhaps constructing this coaster would be an excellent way to move up a level. Don’t do something weak like putting your head on some train tracks, considering creating something like this instead.
Here’s a final look at the 7.5 Kilometer Track.
